Art and Spirit are intrinsically linked and by its very nature art is an act of creation and thus sacred.

God manifests in the physics of the world.

God speaks through the Bible with a message and clarity.

God's Word is never sent or received by accident.

The world is not the way it's supposed to be. It makes us sick to our stomachs when we think about it. No one thinks our world is great as it is. We hunger for a better world. Our hunger actually must be evidence that a better world did exist, or will someday. Because our hunger points to food, and our thirst points to water - shouldn't our hunger for a better world point to something?

Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Dry bones, hear the Word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

The world was designed for good. But all of it was damaged by evil because of our desire to seek our own good above others. We have a broken world with each of us contributing to the mess. Our failure to love our neighbors is ultimately our failure to love God. That longing you feel in your heart for something greater than yourself is a longing for God, Himself.

For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised and we esteemed Him not.

So God came as Jesus. He took everything evil with Him to death on the cross, and through His resurrection, all of it was restored for better. In the pounding surf of life we have only one thing to cling to: the feet of our Lord, Jesus Christ, hanging on that tree, his lifeblood flowing down, washing us whiter than snow. It's all by His staggering grace, lest any man boast.

Comes from the presence of God, not from the absence of sin or obstacles.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, "If you abide in my Word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people, once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Jesus Christ loves us. He gave His disciples a mission. In the end of time all will be fully restored, but until then the followers of Jesus are sent together to heal people, relationships, and the systems of the world. Do not exchange the truth of God for a lie. Our Spirit is alive with truth and whom the Father has set free is free indeed.

Rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.

And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and a release from darkness for the prisoners.

God will satisfy our deepest desires.

So all those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as The Lord forgave you, so also should you...

Present your bodies as a living sacrifice; holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of The Lord, are being transformed into the same image for one degree of glory to another.

You give them drink from the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.

None of us fully grasped the whole truth when we started our spiritual journeys, and if we're honest, we still don't. But each day we see something more fully and more clearly. In Jesus' summation we are to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Worship is a domain of grace.

The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ Let anyone who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let anyone who is thirsty come — let anyone who wishes, take the water of life free of charge.”

Our Father God is a consuming fire that is jealous for us. His love burns to be in fellowship with us. Father God is great and mighty. Be still and know that He is God.

Jesus said, truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. I am a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.

Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine,neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Through the Blood of Jesus I am an heir and possessor of all the riches of my Father’s eternal Kingdom. I have eyes to see God’s Kingdom, ears to hear the language of this Kingdom, and understanding and wisdom that comes from the King of the Kingdom. By the grace and power of God, I shall call forth the Kingdom of God to manifest itself in my current situations and understanding. God’s will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven.
